Along the Tarot Path

Mary Collin, the lovely lady from the UK, has teamed up with us to continue the learning and spirit of The Readers Studio through a series of teleconferences and (eventually) webconferences. Here’s the notice she sent out about this month’s call.

Good morning to you again my fellow Readers’ Studio attendee,

You are invited to join us on our next teleconference follow up to the Tarot School’s 2007 Readers Studio which was held in New York in April.

Choose from either of these two dates . . . the topic will be the same we are just offering you a choice of days.

Day: Friday 15th or Saturday 16th June

Time: 6pm GMT, 1pm EST

Subject: Follow up to the recent Readers Studio - including Key Learnings

Who should be on this call?

If you were at the Readers Studio in April 2007 then we would love you to come on and join us. Share your top learnings with others on the call and share with us what you’ve done differently as a result of attending. Catch up with your friends - old and new!

If you were not able to be there then we would love you to come and join us too. Come on and hear what those who attended gained from being there. You can still pick up some top tips. Find out how friendly everyone is and why we are enthusiastic about sharing what we learned.

So - as you can see - everyone is welcome on the call.

How do I book?

All you need to do is to email tarot@tarotschool.com, tell us which date works best for you and we will email you your dial-in instructions to access the call at your chosen time.

What will it cost me?

An hour of your time and whatever it costs you to dial in to the bridge/teleconference. There is no “fee” and it isn’t a teleclass. No teaching, just lots of sharing.

Ruth Ann & Wald Amberstone - founders of the Tarot School and the Readers Studio - will be joining us on the call - I know they will be delighted to hear from you all. They have arranged the teleconference and can provide joining instructions when you book.

I will be hosting the first few calls and will be delighted to hear from those of you who would like to play an active role in these calls and ensuring that we hold them on a monthly basis.
Why me? Well, I was so impressed by what I read and heard about the Tarot School’s Readers Studio that I flew thousands of miles (from Birmingham in England) to attend this year’s conference and I’m committed to making it every year now. I was so impressed by the whole experience that I don’t want to wait 12 months until the next one . . . so I asked Wald & Ruth Ann if we could have regular follow ups to maintain some of the momentum and so that I could keep in touch with my new friends and colleagues.

It’s an amazing community and you will be assured of a warm welcome.

Join us if you can and note the date in your diary . . . and pass the invitation on to other Tarot Readers who would enjoy and benefit from joining us.

What about Webconferencing?

It’s coming! We will start webconferencing in July and will organise some trial runs so you can see how it works. We will keep you informed of when, how, etc. When we start these you will benefit from having a webcam (although it isn’t absolutely necessary) and a basic program like Windows Media to enjoy seeing your Tarot colleagues and friends around the world from the comfort of your Mac, your PC or laptop. More to follow . . .
