I'm sure you've encountered some situations where you found it difficult to keep everyone's attention and others where your content just wasn't clicking with the audience. Some of you might have even asked yourself, “What the heck am I doing up here?!” You're in good company — all professional speakers have gone through this at some point in time or another.

You can mitigate a lot of this difficulty and stress, however, by using the techniques and skills you'll learn in this class. I'm going to cover the three critical areas where people seem to have the most difficulty: audience management, content development, and speaking skills. I'll first explain how to ensure that your audience is interested and engaged in what you are presenting, and how to diffuse potentially difficult situations. I'll then show you how to make sure you are presenting your material clearly and succinctly, along with some tips and tricks on how to make it look more professional. Finally, I'll teach you some of the basic skills the pros use to make a polished presentation and speak to an audience with enthusiasm and confidence.
